How Miracle Explosion Ministries Started

Miracle Explosion Ministries was started by Burt Holloman and Glynn Freeman in 1995 to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ and the Kingdom of God.

In 2008 The ministry board elected Rick Freeman as President and chairman to move forward the message of hope and discipleship.

Today we are in Taft Texas, a town that needs God just like all the towns across America and around the world.

06-14-2014 We have rename the ministry from Miracle Explosion Ministries to be called The Refuge. We have reorganized the governmental structure. Now we are considered a free church. We have realized that under the old structure we had to submit to the government. Now we only answer to the ONE TRUE GOD of Abraham Issac and Israel.

To be obedient to Gods word in Matthew 28 (NKJV)
19: Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.

Mission:
To make disciples, baptizing them and teaching them to obey Gods’ Word. What is a disciple? The dictionary defines a disciple as
1: one who accepts and assists in spreading the doctrines of another: as
a: one of the twelve in the inner circle of Christ’s followers according to the Gospel accounts
b: a convinced adherent of a school or individual

The word of God says in John 8:31 (NKJV)
Then Jesus said to those Jews who believed Him, “If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed”.

”Eleven years ago the Holy Spirit gave us a vision of two (2) wagon wheels. We didn’t know why or what this meant until we saw the aerial view of this building“.

The Glory Returns to the Temple

1 Then the man brought me to the gate facing east,
2 and I saw the glory of the God of Israel coming from the east. His voice was like the roar of rushing waters, and the land was radiant with his glory.
3 The vision I saw was like the vision I had seen when he [a] came to destroy the city and like the visions I had seen by the Kebar River, and I fell facedown.
4 The glory of the LORD entered the temple through the gate facing east.
